DTS Goalkeeping Classes & Schedules

All classes are one hour in length and run for 8 weeks.

 

Classes for all Goalkeepers. Work on positioning, catching and making that great save! Accessible and available for all levels and ages!

 

DTS Goalkeeping Academy
A common sense approach to teaching all ages and abilities has been developed by Soccer Centers to provide quality instruction for the dedicated goalkeeper. Classes include technical and tactical development. We make it our priority to challenge the, mind as well as the body. This program provides an in depth look onto the finer points of goalkeeping fundamentals. With the goalkeeper position being so demanding both physically and mentally, our goal is to exhort players to push themselves to the limit. This in turn will unleash each players strength and self confidence to perform confidently at the next level.

 

Ball Handling
This course is for the beginning goalkeeper for the age of 8 till 10. In this course the goalkeeper will learn the basics of how to handle a ball in different game situations. The goalkeeper wil work on positioning in the goal, catching, falling, distribution. Certficate received upon proper completion . Show Class Schedule

 

Attacking the Ball (Basics)
Learn how to make smarter decisions and to get possession of the ball as fast as possible in all game situations. In this 8 week class you will take your goalkeeper skills to the next level, using the technique and the philosophy of "attacking the ball". A unique and worldwide accepted training method. The goalkeepers will work in different age groups so they also can learn from each other. Certificate received upon proper compettion . (All ages) Show Class Schedule

 

Attacking the Ball (Experienced)
Acceptance upon approval from Goalie Instructor. Learn how to make smarter decisions and to get possession of the ball as fast as possible in all game situations. In this 8 week class you will take your goalkeeper skills to the next level, using the technique and the philosophy of "attacking the ball". A unique and worldwide accepted training method. The goalkeepers will work in different age groups so they also can learn from each other. Certificate received upon proper compettion. (All ages) Show Class Schedule

 

Goalkeeping Speed and Agility
Conditioning, Coordination, Concentration Not only TECHNICAL or TACTICAL ability, but also PHYSICAL SKILLS and MENTAL STRENGTH are very important tools to reach the top as a goalkeeper. Using the combination of these three Cs, this class will make you in all aspects a better goalkeeper. Every goalkeeper will receive a certificate at the end of the 8 weeks session. DTS Goalkeeping Private Training

For personal attention Soccer Centers offers private training. The DTS Goalkeeper Academy coach will train the goalkeeper on each specific part of goalkeeping. The training will be a combination of techniques, tactics and fitness. If there is anything special you want to work on, let the coach know. He is there for you.

DTS Goalkeeping Game Analysis

Game evaluation

The DTS Goalkeeping Academy offers game evaluations.
The DTS Goalkeeping coach will visit a game and evaluate the goalkeeper.
During the evaluation the DTS Goakeeping coach will make notes and will tape parts of the game on camera.
The evaluation will be drawn out for the player and be used as a guideline for the next private training sessions

Soccer Centers offers a package for privates and an evaluation. .

Special !! Evening Goalkeeping Camp

"Meet Coach Nick van Teeffelen, new Goalkeeping Coach DTS GK Academy!"
Special introductory price of $35 for a 3 hour camp with coach Nick.
Coach Nick comes from Holland with experience and licenses from the KNVB, Frans Hoek and Maarten Aarts. Coach Nick has trained the goalkeepers of various academies and clubs in Holland.

This camp will be on 7/31 from 6-9pm.

SUMMER CAMP 2010 SCHEDULE:


08/02-08/06 Goalkeeping Camp All Ages

This will be the final summer goalkeeping camp for all ages. The topic of this camp will be: "Train like a professional" Under the supervision of Coach Nick you will learn all about "Attacking the ball" This camp will be full of drills and specific games (with superb prices). Goalies will be joining the soccer camp in the afternoon to get game like training.
9am-3pm

This evening camp will be specific for High School goalkeepers. During this camp they will be trained on all facts of goalkeeping.

When you join a DTS Goalkeeping Academy practice session you should wear goalie gloves, clothing that protect you ( long sleeve, goalie pants ) cleats or turf shoes.

 

Is the DTS Goalkeeping Academy offering Futsal Goalkeeping training ?
Yes, since there is a brand new futsal court at Soccer Centers the DTS Goalkeeping Academy offers also futsal goalkeeping training. ( wear indoor shoes, no black soles )

 

If I book 5 private goalkeeping training sessions, I get a game evaluation for free. What does a game evaluation mean ?
With a game evaluation the DTS Goalkeeping Academy coach comes to a game and will evaluate this. With the next private session he will hand out his evaluation on paper and showes the goalkeeper the video analyse he made from the game. This will be used as a guideline for the next private sessions.
