Pre-DTS Training Program:
This summer Soccer Centers offers a pre DTS program for advance U6 to U8 players! Six weeks the players will practice twice a week for one hour. The first session of each week the players will work on developing their skills and the second session they will play small sided games.
These talented players will be trained and coached by our high level trainers. These are advance sessions and will focus on the skills of each individual player.
Dates
The sessions will be held at the following dates.
Week 1: Tuesday June 10th and Thursday 12th 2008 4-5 PM
Week 2: Thursday 19th 2008 4-5 PM
Week 3: Tuesday June 24th and Thursday 26th 2008 5-6 PM
Week 4: Tuesday July 1st 5-6 PM
Week 5: Tuesday July 8th and Thursday 10th 2008 5-6 PM
Week 6: Tuesday July 15th and Thursday 17th 2008 5-6 PM
Price
The costs for the pre DTS will be $95. This includes a free PUMA T-shirt. The fee is due at the time of registration. The quantity of training sessions listed here normal charge would be $350. Because of the time of year, and understanding that all of you may not be able to attend all sessions we have discounted this advanced program.

Mission
DTS Select is run at Soccer Centers, we are committed to offer quality training and coaching to the youth player of New Jersey.
All trainers and coaches involved with DTS Select are educated at the C.I.O.S.
Academy or the KNVB in the Netherlands.
The DTS Select teams will be playing in premier tournaments throughout the summer to assure our commitment. DTS Select is not meant to take the place of the players existing team. These Select teams are to be used for additional training for the players. The teams will play between 3-6 tournament depending on the age group. Parents will have to sign a waiver that players will not be recruited to join other teams or to form a DTS regular season team Soccer Centers is very cognizant about disrupting regular season teams.
DTS practices one day per week June and July midweek for two hours. Attends tournaments weekends in July. DTS teams formed in December will be asked to guest periodically in Soccer Centers winter tournaments. There will be DTS practices on Sunday evenings in the Spring. There is also a 2 hour per night team camp in June. There will be a parents meeting for each team the first night of Sunday practices.Uniforms are included. All costs are inclusive of all the aforementioned items. The only additional charges are for the camps listed below and they are optional.

If your child was on the DTS Summer Select last year, you don't have to submit a birthcertificate (DTS Go Ahead Eagles have to submit!!!), if your child is new to the program please submit a copy of the birthcertificate the same way as the US Club form.

DTS Summer Select is an Academy under US Club, if your child is already carded with another team DTS will be the secondary team which allows for dual carding, this will not conflict with your spring season.

DTS Summer Camp
Only DTS players will be admitted to this camp, the player will be kept separate from the rest of the camp and a special curriculum is offered.
Camp dates are:
June 23 (4 day camp) 9-3 pm
This is an additional camp other than the 2 hour camp that is included in your DTS cost. This is a very reasonably priced camp for players to receive extra training, before their tournament schedule begins. registration is 175.00.
August 4 (5 day camp)
If you register for this camp at the same time as for the DTS Summer Select price is $235. 9- 3

DTS also has their own training classes throughout the winter. DTS Ronaldinho is a class specifically developed for the DTS player and can only be attended by DTS players. For a detailed description check: See training schedule.

DTS Classes
DTS Kaka
The next step after the Fast Foot Work classes. DTS Kaka will emphasize on first touch, moves under high pressure, finishing on goal and overall ball control. Participation in the class is limited and will have to be approved by Soccer Centers staff. [ check schedule for next class ]
DTS Beckham
A specific class designed for players that have succesfully passed through the Powershooting classes. Curriculum will consist of passing and shooting with a curve, free kicks, crossing the ball off the dribble and much more. Participation in the class is limited and will have to be approved by Soccer Centers staff. [ check schedule for next class ]
DTS Ronaldinho
This new class is for players that have been selected for the DTS Summer Select only. Or by invite of DTS coach. The curriculum will consist of moves/tricks to beat the defender in 1v1 situations. This class will differ from the Fast Foot Work classes in that more will be demanded of the players. Small class size will give individual attention.Participation in the class is limited and will have to be approved by Soccer Centers staff. [ check schedule for next class ]
DTS Mini Ball Skills
This new class is for players that have been selected for the DTS Summer Select only. This innovative class uses Size 2 mini balls in a series of ball handling exercises. The secondary skill acquired by the use of mini ball training is an increase in their physical and visual reaction speed. There is a story about Dutch international star, Johan Cruyff. When Cruyff was a boy in Holland, learning and developing his footballing skills, he used to train with a tennis ball. Cruyff mastered dribbling, juggling and other foot skills with the tennis ball. When he returned to a regulation size ball, he found it much easier to control. Well the same concept applies to the method of using the mini balls. When you incorporate a smaller or heavier ball into your weekly training regime, your regulation size ball will seem easier to handle! [ check schedule for next class ]
DTS Soccer Speed
This program is designed to increase speed, quickness, agility and power for all youth athletes. By working on the proper BioMechanics of running, athletes will not only see an increase in speed and agility but endurance as well. For boys and girls age 10 to High School. DTS Elite Juniors
A class specific for the younger but serious soccer player. Along with sufficient skills a desire to play the game is required.

Goal Keeping Advance

DTS Elite Academy
A 2 hour class in which top level players will be challenged in the Dutch philosophy of constant movement with the ball. The first hour will consist of skill training, where players will learn the proper timing of certain moves in order to become more efficent iwith the ball. Be prepared to work!
There will be quite a bit of emphasis on the tactical execution of position in small sided games. The second hour will be small sided games where situation coaching will be used by the trainer to reinforce the skills and training from the first hour
Only players on a premier or flight 1 team will be accepted, ages 10-14 [ check schedule for next class ]
